The vision of our founders and partners through nearly a century has crafted for us a rich and distinguished history with great promise for the future.

Founded in 1917 as Goldstein & Walker, a partnership of Henry C. Walker, Jr. and Elias Goldstein, our firm quickly became a major player in the growing economy of Northwest Louisiana, spurred at that time by the emerging oil and gas industry.   Within a year Goldstein & Walker added as a partner former Louisiana Governor Newton C. Blanchard, taking advantage of his prominence by placing his name first in the firm's name.

Throughout our history we have been closely identified with the oil and gas industry and have been involved in numerous landmark court decisions in the field.  Today we have established ourselves as a motivated and dedicated team of lawyers whose talents and experience benefit clients in virtually every practice area.  We blend traditional values with innovative practice concepts and, as always, a dedication to the law and to our clients.

We are committed to delivering excellent legal services to our clients in a manner that is prompt, efficient and result-oriented.  Our firm has received an AV rating (the highest rating) from Martindale-Hubbell.  The performance of our lawyers and staff has attracted the attention of attorneys throughout the country who frequently discuss cases with us and refer discerning clients from throughout Louisiana and the United States to us.
